Siapkan benda uji yang telah\u00a0 kering berupa lempengan tanah\u00a0 liat sebanyak 15 buah. Lakukan\u00a0 tiga kali pembakaran untuk setiap\u00a0 jenis formula (5 buah lempengan\u00a0 untuk setiap pembakaran). Buat\u00a0 data suhu pembakaran, catat\u00a0 kenaikan suhu setiap kali waktu\u00a0 pembakaran bertambah dan\u00a0 informasi lain yang diperlukan.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/lh3.ggpht.com\/-NovsbP2yWAI\/U6C97DAGoRI\/AAAAAAAAGUc\/NbUxRYfx1HU\/s1600-h\/clip_image0013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"clip_image001\" src=\"http:\/\/lh4.ggpht.com\/-PMzGDuz0lEM\/U6C98oYVsLI\/AAAAAAAAGUk\/yu6TqWuWc2E\/clip_image001_thumb.jpg?imgmax=800\" alt=\"clip_image001\" width=\"214\" height=\"158\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n2. Susun benda uji yang telah kering dari beberapa formula yang dibuat untuk pembakaran yang pertama (PS.08). Letakkan PS. 08 tersebut di dalam tungku pembakaran, dan ingat pancang seger harus dapat dilihat dari lubang intai (spy hole).<\/p>\n<p>3. Hidupkan tungku pembakaran\u00a0 sesuai dengan petunjuk\u00a0 pengoperasian, amati dan catat\u00a0 kenaikan suhu pembakaran\u00a0 melalui pyrometer setiap 20 menit\u00a0 dengan mengisi tabel 4.5. (Suhu\u00a0 praktek).\u00a0 4. Lakukan penahan suhu selama\u00a0 20 menit. Suhu pembakaran yang\u00a0 telah mencapai suhu yang sesuai\u00a0 PS. 08 ditandai dengan\u00a0 melengkungnya PS. 08 tersebut\u00a0 dan pyrometer menunjuk angka\u00a0 955\u00baC. Kemudian matikan tungku\u00a0 pembakaran dan biarkan\u00a0 mendingin selama minimal 12\u00a0 jam.<\/p>\n<p>5. Ambil benda uji yang telah\u00a0 dibakar dari dalam tungku untuk\u00a0 melakukan pengujian suhu\u00a0 kematangan tanah liat. Keras, bila diketuk akan bersuara nyaring<br \/>\nb. Padat, pori-pori relatif kecil atau tidak ada sama sekali karena terisi oleh leburan gelas.<br \/>\nc. Kedap air, tidak menyerap air sehingga dapat dipakai sebagai wadah air.<br \/>\nd. Warna bakar, dari warna terang ke warna gelap, tergantung pada besar kecilnya kandungan bahan pengotor, khususnya oksida-oksida logam seperti besi, mangaan dan titan.<br \/>\ne. Susut, akibat dari perubahan fisika dan kimia mineral tanah liat selama pembakaran dengan besar kecilnya penyusutan tergantung kepada jenis tanah liat yang digunakan.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
