This is because Indonesia has some uniqueness, among others:<\/p>\n<p>(A) the diversity and beauty of nature<br \/>\n(B) the diversity of tribes and customs<br \/>\n(C) the diversity of folk arts and crafts, and so on. As stated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Indonesia has resources that can be used as a basic asset of the tourism sector, which consists of:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">a. <b>total area and strategic location<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\">This country is the largest archipelago in the world and is located at a strategic location on the equator with a number of islands about 17 408 islands, of which about 60% of the entire region composed of water and the rest is land. When compared to the area of Indonesia is almost equal to the area around the vast continent of Europe or North America. Long range from the west end to the east end and reached 5,100 km long from north to south about 1,888 miles. The geographical position of Indonesia is located between the continents of Asia and Australia, and the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean, the wet tropical climate with sunshine all year round\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">b. <b>Natural Resources<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\">Indonesian regions with tropical climate all year round and has the potential of marine natural resources that have not been fully dieksploitasi.untuk welfare. Indonesia&#8217;s population consists of various ethnic and culturally diverse customs, arts and culture, history and different dialects can be a huge capital for the development of tourism.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">d. <b>Stability Security<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\">Safety and tolerance is a necessary condition for the growth and development of the tourism industry. Indonesian nation previously known for having a high culture, noble, friendly, polite, civilized, and very tolerant among others, consciously or unconsciously begin to turn into a nation that is easily offended, and emotionally. The emergence of the Bali bombing case and similar cases in several regions in Indonesia directly and immediately our tourism industry has resulted in falling down. Our country began to be branded as a terrorist state and seemed to have lost their identity. Therefore, let us rebuild the image of this country, restore confidence in the world that this country is the country that is civilized, cultured, polite and tolerant to all mankind.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">e. <b>Imaging National<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\">In the era of the 1980s to the 1990s, our world is in great demand by the Tourism Travelers International (Foreign Tourist), evidenced by the many foreign exchange donated by the foreign tourists to our country&#8217;s national income in general and especially for foreign tourists the main destinations in Indonesia such as: Bali, Yogyakarta, Toraja Land and Lake Toba and the other, but in recent years this chart Tourists visit Indonesia in general to huge numbers plummeted due to some bad or negative image, for example:<br \/>\n\u300dBali Bombing 1 and 2<br \/>\n\u300dTsunami in the Sumatra and West Java<br \/>\n\u300dEarthquake in Yogyakarta and Central Java<br \/>\n\u300dBird Flue Virus<br \/>\n\u300dProhibition of origin and the plane flew for the company in Indonesia to Europe and America for reasons of lack of Indonesian aviation safety, etc.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">f. <b>Political commitment of the government<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\">Strong political commitment from the government to unite the nation and the tourism sector as a mainstay in the economic development of the people and can have a direct impact a capital base for the development of the tourism industry.\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">g. <b>success of development<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\">The success of development has a positive impact in the construction and development of tourism in Indonesia. Infrastructure and facilities are getting better, has made it easier and positive image for tourism in Indonesia. This success can be seen from the following indicators:<br \/>\na. increasing the nation&#8217;s art and culture<br \/>\nb. increasing tourism awareness and community participation in tourism development<br \/>\nc. the growing recognition of the object and the attractiveness of domestic and foreign tourists<br \/>\nd. the increasing concern for the environment<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indonesia has the potential to make the tourism sector as the backbone of national development.
