Kerusakan pada rangka kendaraan memerlukan perbaikan yang ekstra teliti, dikarenakan rangka memiliki konstruksi yang kuat dan sangat menentukan kestabilan, keamanan dan kenyamanan dari sebuah kendaraan.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai akibat dari tabrakan (seperti gambar 6.1), bodi kendaraan bisa dimungkinkan ada bagian kendaraan yang rusak, mengkerut, mulur, bengkok dan lain sebagainya. Untuk perbaikan bodi yang rusak tersebut, kadang tidak bisa dilakukan bagian per bagian, akan tetapi bersama- sama. Hal ini memerlukan beberapa peralatan yang dapat bekerja secara kompak dan bersama-sama.<\/p>\n<p>Khusus pada bab ini, akan dijelaskan beberapa perlatan hidrolik yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki kerusakan bodi kendaraan. Prinsip dari peralatan hidrolik memanfaatkan konsep tekanan, yaitu tekanan yang diberikan pada salah satu silinder akan diteruskan ke silinder yang lain., sesuai dengan hukum Pascal.<\/p>\n<p>Peralatan hidrolik untuk memperbaiki bodi kendaraan memiliki ukuran yang sangat bervariasi, dari peralatan yang hanya memiliki kekuatan sekitar 1 ton, sampai dengan 50 ton. Jenis yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan kerusakan yang terjadi. Prinsip kerja hidrolik<\/p>\n<p>Dalam penggunaan berbagai peralatan hidrolik, biasanya kita sering menggunakan oli sebagai perantara untuk menyalurkan tekanan. Jadi, perbaikan bodi kendaraan memanfaatkan oli untuk membantu pekerjaan kita. Konsep dari hidrolik banyak digunakan pada pemakaian sistem rem kendaraan, dongkrak kendaraan, alat pengangkat mobil ketika dicuci, juga pada berbagai alat berat seperti back hoe, excavator dan lain sebagainya.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam perbaikan bodi kendaraan, baik kerusakan ringan maupun kerusakan berat, sering diperlukan peralatan hidrolik untuk memperbaiki kerusakan tersebut.
