Figure 4-1. Construction Concrete Pole

In the low voltage network which uses a pole with a medium voltage network then the distance of the goal (Span) must be on guard so that no more than 60 meters. In determining the length of the pole several factors to be considered are; 1) a safe distance between the medium voltage line and low voltage, 2) Position the transformer pole, and 3) high

low buffer transformer with two poles.

Figure 4-2 shows a safe distance needed to determine the length of the pole. In the picture shown that the minimum length for medium voltage pole 11 feet (9.2 meters above the ground) and for low voltage 9 feet (7.5 meters above the ground).

3. Safe distance Pole Low Voltage

From Table 5-1 mentioned that the 9 meter pole type 200 daN can be used up to a distance of 60 meter mast, mast 9 meters are type 100 daN can be used is limited to a distance of 40 meter mast, even shorter by reducing the burden of the wire, because it limits the moment resistance is almost zero in the range (span) of 40 meters.

4. Plan and prepare establish pole

To determine the amount (needs) and the type of the pole at a location, the necessary survey data network to be installed. From the picture the situation to determine which network and equipment to the site pole, ie the number of TR and supporting poles. Concrete poles for Low Voltage used size 9 feet, Figure 4-5 and the next picture shows the construction of a concrete pillar with its equipment in accordance with the requirements at the site.

Described above, the distance between the pole set at 40-60 meters, but the distance still needs to be adapted to the conditions of the location (they can be shifted). Of images to determine which network situation and the necessary equipment (Main Distribution Materials) for the location, ie the number of concrete poles, conductors, cables land and air, as well as insulators and equipment.

After learning the required amount of concrete pole, the next it prepares the required minimum equipment (which should be provided by the contractor) to work the pole is set up as follows:

a. Complete tool kit g. Work bags

b. Belts h. Workbag

c. Derek-hand i. Safety cap

d. Iron foot three j. Slap 16 mm

e. K ground drill. Crowbar and others.
