Pengaman arus lebih di sisi tegangan ada beberapa macam :
\n1. No Fus Breaker NFB<\/strong>
\nNo. Fuse Breaker adalah breaker\/pemutus dengan sensor arus apabila arus yang melewati peralatan tersebut melebihi kapasitas maka sistim magnetik dan bimetalic pada peralatan tersebut akan bekerja dan memerintahkan breaker melepas beban.<\/p>\n

2. Pengaman lebur (sekering)<\/strong>
\nPengaman lebur adalah suatu alat pemutus yang dengan meleburnya bagian dari komponennya yang telah dirancang dan disesuaikan ukurannya untuk itu membuka rangkaian dimana sekering tersebut
\ndipasang dan memutuskan arus bila arus tersebut melebihi suatu nilai tertentu dalam jangka waktu yang cukup (SPLN 64 : 1985 : 1). Fungsi sekering dalam suatu rangkaian listrik adalah untuk menjaga atau mengamankan rangkaian berikut peralatannya yang tersambung dari kerusakan dalam batas nilai pengenalnya setiap saat (PUIL 64:1985:24).<\/div>\n

Menentukan Kapasitas Pengaman Lebur
\nUntuk menentukan arus pengenal pelebur yang akan digunakan patokan-patokan berikut :
\na) Tegangan pengenal pelebur harus dipilih sesuai dengan tegangan jaringan yang akan diamankan.
\nb) Arus pengenal pelebur harus lebih besar dari arus beban penghantar. Untuk beban distribusi yang sebagian besar merupakan penerangan arus pengenal diambil sebesar 1,1 \u2013 1,2 arus beban maksimum.
\nc) Arus beban maksimum sebaiknya diambil sebesar 0,8 x KHA penghantar.
\nd) Arus pengenal pelebur harus lebih kecil dari arus hubung singkat (yang terbaik adalah terhadap hubung singkat fasa \u2013 netral sedangkan hubung singkat fasa-fasa dan hubung singkat 3 fasa mutlak harus dapat diamankan) dititik terjatuh.
