Potensi Reservoir<\/strong><br \/>\nYang dimaksud dengan resevoir adalah lapisan batuan permeable yang dapat menyimpan dan mengalirkan fluida. Kandungan panas dalam resevoir dihitung berdasarkan data-data Volume reservoir, temperatur, porositas, density, thermal capasity. Data-data tersebut diperoleh dari survey geology, hydrology, geochemical, geophysic dan pengeboran sumur-sumur explorasi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>b. Fild Run Down<\/strong><br \/>\nPengambilan uap (fluida) yang terlalu berlebihan akan mempengaruhi tekanan dan temperatur resevoir, sehingga turbin tidak dapat mencapai kapasitas maksimumnya. Oleh karena perhitungan kapasitas reservoir berdasarkan parameter-parameter yang tidak diukur secara langsung maka hasil perhitungan tidak dapat dijadikan pegangan mutlak. Untuk mengurangi resiko field run down biasanya PLPT dibangun secara bertahap sambil mengamati perubahan-perubahan pada resevoir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C. Exploitasi Panas Bumi<\/strong><br \/>\nYang dimaksud dengan exploitasi panas bumi adalah:<br \/>\n\u2227 Usaha mencari\/menentukan daerah panas bumi<br \/>\n\u2227 Menentukan karakteristik dari daerah panas bumi (semithermal atau hyperthermal)<br \/>\n\u2227 Menentukan apakah daerah hyper thermal (bila di temukan, merupakan steam atau water dominated)<br \/>\n\u2227 Mempelajari lebih teliti, lokasi, luas, kedalaman dan temperatur daerah panas bumi.<br \/>\n\u2227 Mengetimasi potensi daya yang dapat diperoleh dari energi panas yang ada pada daerah panas bumi itu.<\/p>\n<p>Pelaksanaan kegiatan explorasi memerlukan kerja sama dari beberapa disiplin ilmu antara lain Geology, geochemistry, geophysics dan engineering. Dari data-data yang diperoleh tersebut diambil suatu keputusan pertimbangan sebagai berikut :<br \/>\na) Bagaimanakah kira-kira prospek panas bumi tersebut untuk explorasi selanjutnya.<br \/>\nb) Bila prospeknya baik , apakah pengeborannya secara teknik bisa dilakukan.<br \/>\nc) Bila dapat, berapa kira-kira kedalamannya<br \/>\nd) Tentukan letak-letak sumur explorasi yang mula-mula akan dibor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>a.
