The first amplifier is called a pilot generator exciter and the main generator exciter amplifier called the second (main amplifier). Main exciter is an alternating current generator with the stator poles. The rotor generates alternating current is rectified by a rotating diode exciter on the main shaft (the shaft with the main generator). Direct current is generated by rotating diode current amplifier becomes the main generator.<\/p>\n

The pilot exciter on an alternating current generator with a rotor spinning pole permanent magnet induces in the stator windings. Alternating voltage is rectified by the rectifier diodes and produces direct current supplied to the magnetic poles exist on the main exciter stator. Large direct current that flows into the main exciter pole regulated by an automatic voltage regulator (automatic voltage regulator \/ AVR).<\/p>\n

The detection of events on a rotating rotor need a special way, such as using the way of something which transmits spin. In this way, the rotor is equipped with an electronic signal that represents the sender of a particular scale, for example, represent the rotor insulation resistance. Electronic signals captured by the measuring device at the desired place and electronic signals by gauges “translated” into a signal that is easy to understand.<\/p>\n
