Pada gambar 4.128 (a). katup pengontrol posisi netral, sehingga tidak ada aliran yang menuju silinder. Pada 4.128 (b) dan (c), katup pengontrol digerakkan. Misal katup pengontrol digerakkan kekiri (posisi raise). Maka terlihat bahwa katup pengontrol akan mengarahkan oli ke salah satu sisi dari silinder sedangkan sisi yang lain akan diarahkan menuju return port. Return port disini dapat menuju ke tangki atau menuju katup pengontrol yang lain.<\/p><\/div>\n
