(1) Pompa Injeksi Tipe Distributor<\/strong>
\nBahan bakar ditekan oleh vane type feed pump yang mempunyai 4 vane. Pump plunger bergerak lurus bolak-balik sambil berputar karena bergeraknya drive shaft, cam plate, plunger spring, dan lain-lain. Gerakan plunger menyebabkan naiknya tekanan bahan bakar dan menekan bahan bakar melalui delivery valve ke injection nozzle.<\/p>\n

Governor berfungsi mengatur banyaknya bahan bakar yang diinjeksikan nozzle dengan menggerakkan spill ring sehingga merubah saat akhir langkah efektif plunger. Pressure timer berfungsi memajukan saat penginjeksian bahan bakar dengan cara merubah posisi tappet roller. Fuel cut-off solenoid untuk menutup saluran bahan bakar dalam pompa.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

(2) Pompa Injeksi Tipe In-Line<\/strong>
\nFeed pump menghisap bahan bakar dari tanki dan menekan bahan bakar yang telah disaring oleh filter. Pompa injeksi tipe in-line mempunyai cam dan plunger yang jumlahnya sama dengan jumlah silinder. Gerakan plunger lurus bolak-balik. Delivery valve berfungsi untuk menjaga tekanan pada pipa injeksi dan menghentikan injeksi dengan cepat. Plunger dilumasi oleh solar dan camshaft oleh oli mesin. Governor bekerjanya menggerakkan control rack. Governor terdiri dari 2 tipe :mechanical governor dan combined governor (mechanical dan pneumatic governor). Automatic timer menggerakkan camshaft pompa<\/div>\n

(3) High pressure pipe (delivery valve)<\/strong>
\nPipa tekanan tinggi bahan bakar untuk diesel dibuat khusus untuk mampu menahan tekanan bahan bakar yang tinggi. Pipa ini terbuat dari campuran pelat seng (zinc-plated) dan tembaga (copper lined steel)<\/p>\n

(4) Injection Nozzle<\/strong>
\nInjection nozzle terdiri nozzle body dan needle dan berfungsi untuk mengabutkan bahan bakar. Antara nozzle body dan needle dikerjakan dengan presisi dengan toleransi 1\/1000 mm karena itu kedua komponen itu apabila perlu diganti harus diganti secara bersama.<\/div>\n
