VAR meter juga mempunyai empat terminal. Untuk pengukuran daya reaktif maka penyambungan meternya sama seperti wattmeter. Konstanta ukurnya diskalakan dalam satuan VAR atau KVAR. Di pasaran VAR meter tersedia dalam 2 type, yaitu untuk pengukuran dalam sistem fasa tunggal (mempunyai 4 terminal) dan untuk pengukuran sistem tiga fasa (mempunyai 10 terminal).<\/p>\n<p>Untuk pengukuran daya semu dapat dilakukan secara tidak langsung yaitu dengan saling mengalikan hasil pengukuran tegangan dan arus.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/04\/image-10.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/04\/image_thumb-10.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"293\" height=\"156\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGambar 7.19 Tipikal VAr-meter dan kVAr-meter<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cosphi\u2014meter<\/strong><br \/>\nPower factor meter atau lazim disebut sebagai cosphi meter adalah instrumen untuk mengukur factor daya. Instrumen ini sama seperti wattmeter mempunyai 4 terminal. Penyambungan instrumen ini sama seperti watt meter. Skala ukurnya dibuat sesuai dengan sifat beban listrik yaitu induktif dan kapasitif.
