Secara umum rangkaian ohmmeter seri ini terdiri dari meter dasar berupa miliammeter\/mikroammeter arus searah, beberapa buah resistor dan potensiometer serta suatu sumber tegangan searah\/batere. Imaks = arus skala penuh (full-scale).
