Maka kontak yang dilapis dengan besi akan saling menarik, sehingga terjadi hubungan. Rele tidak langsung (Gambar 1.126b), saat arus dialirkan ke kumparan, maka angker akan tertarik inti kumparan. Angker akan menggerakkan kontak, bisa menghubungkan maupun melepas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jenis Kontak<br \/>\n<\/strong>Semua rele elektromagnetik dapat dibangun sedemikian rupa sehingga kontaknya dapat menutup saat kumparan dialiri arus, yang biasa disebut dengan normally open (no). Dapat pula saat kumparan dialiri arus kontak akan menjadi terbuka atau normally close (nc). Arus kontak adalah arus yang dibolehkan melewati kontak saat kontak tertutup.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bahan feromagnetik, Ialah jenis logam yang sangat mudah dibuat menjadi benda magnet dan sangat mudah dipengaruhi magnet. Bahan yang termasuk jenis ini seperti besi, baja, dan nikel.<\/li>\n<li>Bahan para magnetik, Ialah jenis logam yang tidak dapat dibuat menjadi benda magnet tetapi masih dapat dipengaruhi magnet. Bahan yang termasuk jenis ini seperti platina dan mangan<\/li>\n<li>Bahan dia magnetik, Ialah jenis logam yang tidak dapat dibuat magnet dan juga tidak dapat dipengaruhi oleh magnet.
