{"id":2505,"date":"2024-02-06T03:30:22","date_gmt":"2024-02-05T20:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/?p=2505"},"modified":"2024-02-05T08:00:23","modified_gmt":"2024-02-05T01:00:23","slug":"measuring-transformer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/measuring-transformer\/","title":{"rendered":"Measuring Transformer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"notranslate\">The transformer is an electronic component that is designed to be able to move the Alternating Electric Current Voltage Feedback \/ Voltage Alternating Current (ACV) of the primary winding (P) to the secondary windings (S) with no direct relationship between the two coils.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> See figure 23.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/image.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/image_thumb.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"388\" height=\"310\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 23. Transformer<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> A transformer is still good and usable, or is damaged can be proved by measuring it with a Multimeter.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Things to remember when using a multimeter to measure the transformer is:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> A. Both cables investigator (probes) placed arbitrarily (random) at points terminal on the primary winding.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> B. Both cables investigator (probes) placed arbitrarily (random) at points terminal on the secondary windings.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> C. Both cables investigator (probes) placed arbitrarily (random) at the point of primary and secondary terminals.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> D. The switch in the position measuring range, measuring limit (range) at the position x1, x10 or k\u03a9 as needed.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> See Figure 24.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/image-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/image_thumb-1.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"347\" height=\"190\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 24. Measuring Transformer<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>Measuring rolls (Coil \/ Winding)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Coil windings or winding or electronic components which are specifically designed to produce magnetic induction.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> If the wire coil is energized, the rolls will be generated magnetic induction.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> In electronics engineering, reels or coil is applied in the manufacturing of transformers in the form of the primary winding (P) and secondary (S), but some are made separately for special purposes.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> See figure 25.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/image-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/image_thumb-2.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"436\" height=\"186\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 25.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Various types of rolls (Coil \/ Winding) for various purposes.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Conditions of a roll (coil \/ winding), are still good and usable, or is damaged can be proved by measuring it with a Multimeter.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Things to remember when using a multimeter to measure the roll (coil \/ winding) are:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> A.
