Wattmeter adalah instrumen pengukur daya listrik yang merupakan kombinasi voltmeter dan ampermeter. Pengukuran daya arus searah dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Wattmeter. Didalam instrument ini terdapat dua macam kumparan yaitu kumparan arus dan kumparan tegangan. Kopel yang dikalikan oleh kedua macam kumparan tersebut berbanding lurus dari hasil perkalian arus dan tegangan.<\/p>\n

b. Pengukuran Daya Arus Bolak \u2013 Balik Satu Phase<\/b>

untuk pengukuran daya satu phase Pengukuran daya arus bolak – balik dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Wattmeter. Pada gambar diatas dapat dilihat bahwa dalam menghubungkan ke beban dan saluran supply daya listrik wattmeter untuk pengukuran daya satu phase ada kesamaan dengan pengukuran daya DC terminal input output pada Wattmeter mempunyai kesamaan dengan saat mengukur daya DC.<\/p>\n

Pada pengukuran daya listrik beban arus bolak balik satu phase dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan 4 titik terminal I\/O pada Wattmeter yaitu terminal Iin, Iout, L1 dan L2. Perhitungan perlu dilakukan seperti yang tertera pada tabel yang tersedia di atas.<\/p>\n

c. Pengukuran Daya Arus Bolak \u2013 Balik Tiga Phase<\/b>Contoh :<\/u><\/b>
\nPada pengukuran beban 1 phase switch arus (I) pada posisi angka 5 selanjutnya switchtegangan (V) pada posisi 100 maka C = 5 (sesuai tabel di atas), selanjutnya apabila jarum menunjukan angka 30 maka pembacaan daya dirumuskan sebagai berikut :
