The wattmeter linkage for DC power measurement<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Wattmeter is an instrument of electrical power meter which is a combination of voltmeter and ampermeter.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Direct current power measurements can be made using the Wattmeter gauge.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> In this instrument there are two kinds of coils that is the current coil and the voltage coil.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The couples multiplied by the two coils are directly proportional to the multiplication of current and voltage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>b.<\/b><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>Alternative Current Power Measurement<\/b><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Below is shown a picture of a wattmeter link for one phase power measurement.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/04\/image-2.png?ssl=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/04\/image_thumb-2.png?resize=226%2C244&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"image\" width=\"226\" height=\"244\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 49. Chart of the wattmeter relationship<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> for one phase power measurement Alternative current power measurements can be made using the Wattmeter gauge.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> In the picture above it can be seen that in connecting to the load and power supply line of wattmeter power for one phase power measurement there is similarity with DC power measurement of output input terminal at Wattmeter have in common with when measuring DC power.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> At the measurement of electric power one-phase alternating current load is performed by using 4 terminal point I \/ O at Wattmeter ie terminal Iin, Iout, L1 and L2.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Calculations need to be done as listed in the table provided above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>c.<\/b><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>Alternative Current Power Measurement Phase Back<\/b> <b><u>Example:<\/u><\/b><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> In measuring the load of 1 phase switch current (I) at position number 5 next switchtegangan (V) at position 100 then C = 5 (according to table above), then if needle shows number 30 then power reading formulated as follows:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>P = UIC<\/b><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>P = 30.<\/b><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>5.<\/b><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <b>5<\/b><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>P = 750 watts<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Below is shown a picture of the wattmeter link for one phase power measurement.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/04\/image-4.png?ssl=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/04\/image_thumb-4.png?resize=207%2C244&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"image\" width=\"207\" height=\"244\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 50.
