Rangkaian tersebut dapat merupakan gabungan rangkaian seri dan rangkaian paralel. Analisis rangkaian seriparalel sudah pasti akan lebih rumit dibandingkan dengan rangkaian seri atau rangkaian paralel. Apabila nilai dari suatu sumber tegangan sudah diketahui, maka besaran yang harus dianalisa adalah nilai arus pada masing-masing penghantar yang masuk atau meninggalkan titik percabangan atau nilai tegangan pada masing-masing tahanan dari rangkaian tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Jumlah persamaan yang digunakan untuk menganalisa suatu besaran belum dapat diketahui, yang jelah harus sebanyak jumlah besaran yang hendak diketahui harganya. Rangkaian seri-parallel merupakan rangkaian kombinasi yang terdiri dari rangkaian seri dan rangkaian parallel. Rangkaian seri-paralel sering dijumpai dslam rangaian control kelistrikan peralatan refrigerasi dan tata udara. Tipe ragkaian ini merupakan kombinasi rangkaian seri dan rangkaian parallel, seperti diperlihatkan dalam Gambar 3.39.<\/p>\n<p>Rangkaian seri-paralel seringkali mudah dipahami ketika ia hanya memuat beberapa komponen saja. Rangkaian seri-paralel menjadi sulit dipahami ketika melibatkan banyak komponen di dalamnya.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/09\/image19.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/09\/image_thumb18.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"226\" height=\"153\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGambar 3.39 Rangkaian Seri-Paralel<\/p>\n<p>Rangkaian seri-paralel sering digunakan untuk mengkombinasikan rangkaian kontrol dan rangkaian yang mencatu daya listrik ke beban. Gambar 3.40 memperlihatkan contoh aplikasi rangkaian seri-paralel pada rangkaian kontrol. Konfigurasi rangkaian pada rangkaian seri-parallel didesain sehingga beban dapat menerima tegangan jala-jala dengan sepenuhnya untuk mengoprasikan sakelar dan kontak yang terhubung seri dengan beban, sehingga dapat mengontrol operas sistem.<\/p>\n<p>Perhitungn nilai-nilai dalam rangkaian seri-parallel harus dilakukan secara hati-hati, karena setiap bagian dari rangkaian harus diidentifikasi sebagai seri atau parallel.
