Rangkaian Seri<\/strong><br \/>\nSebagaimana hambatan, rangkaian kapasitor dapat diklasifikasikanmenjadi dua jenis konfigurasi yakni, seri dan paralel, akan tetapi aturannya berbeda dan bahkan kebalikan dari aturan resistor.<br \/>\nKapasitor ekivalen (total\/pengganti dari sebuah rangkaian seri empat dapat dihitung sebagai berikut:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/09\/image16.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/elektro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/09\/image_thumb20.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"434\" height=\"196\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGambar 3.17 Rangkaian Seri Kapasitor<\/p>\n<p>Karena besarnya arus dalam sebuah rangkaian seri sama dalam setiap kapasitor sesuai dengan hukum Kirchoff, maka dengan demikian jumlah muatan yang mengalir pun sama sehingga muatan di C1, C2 dan seterusnya kita sebut saja dengan Q1, Q2, dst akan sama besar: Q1=Q2=Q3=Q4.
