Sebuah rangkaian (circuit) dan Jaringan (net work) terbentuk dari gabungan elemen-elemen dua terminal baik elemen pasif maupun elemen aktif. Elemen-elemen aktif adalah sumber tegangan atau sumber arus yang mampu menyalurkan energi ke rangkaian atau jaringan. Sedang elemen-elemen pasif adalah resistor, induktor dan kapasitor yaitu elemen-elemen rangkaian yang menyerap ataupun menyimpan energi dari sumber energi.<\/p>\n

Elemen-elemen tersebut dapat dihubungkan dalam hubungan seri, parallel atau kombinasi keduanya.

Kesepakatan Tanda<\/strong>
\nBila suatu arus memasuki sebuah elemen rangkaian pada terminal bertanda positif (+) untuk tegangan U pada elemen tersebut, maka daya yang diserap adalah perkalian antara tegangan dan arus atau P = U x I.
\nDalam Gambar 3.3, diketahui tegangan pada elemen A adalah Ua = 20 V, tegangan pada elemen B adalah Ub = -15 V dan tegangan pada elemen C adalah Uc = 5 V. Dapat diketahui besar daya yang diserap oleh elemen A yaitu:
\nP = Ua x I = – (20) x (3) = – 60 watt<\/p>\n

Penyerapan negatif adalah emisi positif. Akibatnya, elemen A pastilah sebuah sumber tegangan. Daya yang diserap oleh elemen B adalah – (-15) x (3) = 45 watt dan pada elemen C adalah : +(5) x (3) = 15 watt.

Diagram Rangkaian<\/strong>
\nSetiap diagram rangkaian atau jaringan dapat terbentuk atau ditampilkan dalam berbagai cara. Jadi kadang-kadang rangkaian yang sama tetapi dapat ditampilkan dalam bentuk yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu dalam melakukan analisis rangkaian, sebaiknya memeriksa terlebih dahulu diagram rangkaiannya dan kalau perlu digambar kembali guna memperlihatkan dengan lebih jelas bagaimana elemen-elemen tersebut saling berhubungan sebelum memulai menyelesaikan masalahnya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
