Chain Belt
On the use of belts, round slip can occur, in order to avoid slip then use the steel chain that consists of a number of rigid links hinged and continued by a pin to provide the necessary flexibility. Chain that is used to power menstransmisi large shaft where the second distance and the desired slip does not occur. On appeal dengna rooda transmission gears, chains are much cheaper but brisik as well as capacity and speed smaller.
Chains are mostly used to transmit motion and power from one shaft to shaft to another, such as when the center distance between the short shaft as in bicycles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, conveyors, etc. and also chains may also be used for the center distance is long ( up to 8 meters).

Gains and losses on the chain-belt transmission belt dengna appeal
Benefit
1. During the operation does not slip so that the speed ratio is perfect.
2. Because the chain is made of metal, the space required is less than the belt, and can generate the correct transmission.
3. Provide high transmission efficiency (up 98 percent).
4. Can be operated onshore or on a high enough temperature admosfer conditions.
Deficiency
1. The cost of production is relatively high chain.
2. Needed maintenance chain carefully and accurately, especially streamlining and penyesuaiann when slack.
3. The chain has fluctuations, especially when too stretched.
The term is often used in the chain.

1. Pitch of chain is the distance between the center hinge and center hinge link corresponding adjacent links, usually symbolized by p.
2. Pitch circle diameter of the sprocket chain is the center of the circle on the hinges A, B, C and D in which the pull loop through these centers with the central axis as the center of the circle, called the pitch diameter circle or sprocket.
