Salah satu keuntungan menggunakan rangkaian jembatan ini adalah dapat didesain untuk menghasilkan sinyal tegangan yang bervariasi terhadap ground (tegangan yang bernilai nol). Jika pada mobil maka badan mobil atau minus baterai yang menjadi ground. Ini berarti bahwa penguatan dapat dipakai untuk menambah level tegangan untuk penambahan sensitivitas pada impedansi yang bervariasi.<\/p>\n<p>Gambar 2.26 menunjukkan rangkaian jembatan yang disebut jembatan wheatstone. Rangkaian ini dipakai untuk aplikasi pengkondisi sinyal dimana sebuah sensor yang merubah resistansi menjadi tegangan sebagai variabel proses, menjadi masukan ke kontroler yang sebelumnya dibandingkan dengan referensi (lihat blok diagram sistem kontrol tertutup pada gambar 9.3).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/09\/image25.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/09\/image_thumb24.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"238\" height=\"226\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gambar 2.25 Rangkaian Jembatan Wheatstone DC Dasar<\/p>\n<p>Banyak modifikasi yang dilakukan pada rangkaian jembatan dasar ini untuk aplikasi lain yang lebih spesifik. Pada Gambar 2.25, obyek dengan lebel D adalah sebuah detektor tegangan (vlotage detector) dipakai untuk membandingkan tegangan (potensial) di titik antara a dan pada rangkaian. Dalam aplikasi yang modern, detektor merupakan amplifier diferensial dengan impedansi input yang tinggi.
