{"id":930,"date":"2025-07-31T02:38:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-30T19:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/?p=930"},"modified":"2025-07-28T07:42:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T00:42:10","slug":"basic-style-mechanics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/basic-style-mechanics\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic Style Mechanics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Style is something that causes deformation of the structure.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Style has magnitude and direction, depicted in the form of a vector whose direction is indicated with arrows children, while the length of the vector used to indicate the amount.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The style is a quantity that tend to encourage \/ changing the shape of the object that is imposed in the direction of the work force.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> As a vector, style has three characteristics, namely the magnitude, direction and point \/ location operation that usually represented the line of the arrow as shown in the figure below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Point application can be represented by the base or tip \/ head of arrows.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/12\/image23.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/12\/image_thumb22.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"221\" height=\"244\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 2.2 Style as a vector<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> It means that if one or more of three characteristics is changed, then the effect of the object subjected to this style will change as well.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The magnitude of the effect is clear style.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> For example, if we tried to push the relatively large car alone, chances are the car does not move because of the style that we give to the car is not big enough.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> But if we ask for help two other people to help push the car, it is possible that the car can be driven by three individuals due to the force created by the three men is greater than the force generated by a single person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Direction of force clearly had an effect on objects that are subject to these styles as seen in the image below in which a force is applied to a crate in two different directions, horizontally and vertically.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Although these two forces have great and the point of application are the same, but the reaction of the crate against horizontal forces will be different when compared to the reaction to the vertical force.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/12\/image25.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/12\/image_thumb24.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"236\" height=\"244\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 2.3 Direction of force had an effect on objects<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> While the point of application can be described as follows where a simple bridge which is supported by a pedestal left and right pedestal.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> If the force exerted its position close to the pedestal to the left (style represented by the solid line) then we can feel that the foundation of the Left will receive a larger force than the pedestal that right.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Conversely, if the forces acting close to the pedestal right (style represented by the dotted line), the foundation of the right which will receive a larger force.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Here we can see how to change the point of application of force to change the reactions that occur on the system structure.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/12\/image26.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/industri\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/12\/image_thumb26.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"324\" height=\"199\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 2.4 Point style affect the reaction<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Mechanics in Engineering, discussed only the style that is located in one plane (coplanar).<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> In the science of structural analysis, the style is divided into 3 (three), are as follows:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> 1. Style coplanar is when the forces working in the line of work that one plane.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> 2. Concurrent Style is when the forces that work intersect at a point.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> 3.
