a. Balanced Vane (Pompa Kipas balanced)<\/strong>
\nPompa ini menggunakan rumah pompa yang bagian dalamnya berbentuk elips dan terdapat dua buah lubang pemasukan ( inlet ) serta dua buah lubang pengeluaran outlet yang posisinya saling berlawanan arah. Dibuat demikian agar tekanan radial dari cairan hidrolik saling meniadakan sehingga terjadilah keseimbangan ( balanced ) Vane (kipas) yang bentuknya seperti gambar 8b dipasang pada poros beralur (slots) dan karena adanya gaya sentrifugal selama rotor berputar maka vane selalu merapat pada rumah pompa sehingga terjadilah proses pemompaan.

b. Pompa Torak Radial (Radial Piston Pump)<\/strong>
\nPompa piston ini gerakan pemompaannya radial yaitu tegak lurus poros. Piston digerakkan oleh sebuah poros engkol (eccentric crankshaft) sehingga besar langkah piston adalah sebesar jari-jari poros engkol. Penghisapan terjadi pada waktu piston terbuka sehingga oli hidrolik dari crankshaft masuk ke dalam silinder. Pada langkah pemompaan cairan ditekan dari setiap silinder melalui check valve ke saluran tekan. Pompa ini dapat mencapai tekanan hingga 63 MPa.

c. Bent axis piston pump (Pompa torak dengan poros tekuk)<\/strong>
\nPada pompa ini blok silinder berputar pada suatu sudut untuk dapat memutar poros. Batang torak dipasang pada flens poros penggerak dengan menggunakan ball joint. Besar langkah piston tergantung pada besar sudut tekuk. Untuk fixed displacement piston pump besar sudut (offset engle) berkisar 250<\/sup> .
