{"id":1464,"date":"2024-06-18T03:21:58","date_gmt":"2024-06-17T20:21:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mesin\/?p=1464"},"modified":"2024-06-12T20:45:07","modified_gmt":"2024-06-12T13:45:07","slug":"viscosity-index","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mesin\/viscosity-index\/","title":{"rendered":"Viscosity Index"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"notranslate\">What is meant by the viscosity index or viscosity index (VI) is a number that indicates the range of changes in the viscosity of a hydraulic fluid associated with changes in temperature.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Thus the viscosity index is used as a basis in determining the characteristics of the hydraulic fluid viscosity related to temperature changes.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Regarding the viscosity index is specified in DIN ISO 2909. Hydraulic fluid is said to have a high viscosity index when the viscosity changes little (stable) over a relatively large temperature changes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Or it can be said that the hydraulic fluid can be used in a range of temperature changes significantly.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Hydraulic fluids, especially hydraulic oil is expected to have a viscosity index (VI) = 100. Ubbelohde &#8216;s viscosity -temperature diagrams<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Hydraulic fluid must have certain characteristics in order to meet the requirements in carrying out its functions.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Characteristics or attributes required include:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>A.
