\nSilinder ini mendapat suplai udara hanya dari satu sisi saja. Untuk mengembalikan ke posisi semula biasanya digunakan pegas atau kembali karena beratnya sendiri atau beban.. Silinder kerja tunggal hanya dapat memberikan tenaga pada satu sisi saja. B. Double Acting Cylinder (Silinder Kerja Ganda)<\/strong>
\nSilinder ini mendapat suplai aliran liquid dari dua sisi. Konstruksinya hampir sama dengan silinder kerja tunggal. Keuntungannya adalah bahwa silinder ini dapat memberikan tenaga pada kedua belah sisinya. Silinder kerja ganda ada yang memiliki batang torak ( piston rod ) pada satu sisi dan ada pula yang pada kedua sisi.
