Jika ada dua buah gaya yang mempunyai titik tangkap sama dengan arah berlainan arah dari kedua gaya membentuk sudut \u03b1 maka jumlah resultannya dapat dihitung dengan persamaan berikut :<\/p>\n

Untuk \u03b1 = 90o<\/sup> maka Cos \u03b1 = 0 atau berlaku rumus Phytagoras yaitu :<\/p>\n

\no P dan Q = komponen gaya
\no \u03b1 = sudut apit antara dua gaya
\no R = Resultan<\/p>\n

Menyusun Gaya Yang Terletak Pada Bidang Datar<\/strong>
\nJika ada dua buah gaya yang mempunyai titik tangkap berlainan dan terletak pada bidang datar maka untuk menentukan titik tangkap gaya tersebut dapat dilaksanakan dengan dua cara yaitu :
\no dengan cara lukisan .
\no dengan cara analisa\/hitungan
\nContoh : Dua buah gaya masing masing mempunyai titik tangkap di titik A dan titik B dengan jarak AB = 60 Cm , besar gaya P=8 N dan arah gayanya kekiri bawah membentuk sudut 120o<\/sup> terhadap garis mendatar , Gaya Q= 2 \u221a3 N dengan arah gaya tegak lurus ke bawah , lihat gambar berikut :<\/p>\n

Dari kedua gaya di atas tentukan :
\n– Besarnya resultan ;
\n– Arah resultan ;
\n– Titik tangkap resultan<\/p>\n

Penyelesaian Lihat gambar berikut :
\nUntuk menentukan titik tangkap , arah dan besarnya gaya resultan dapat dilakukan dengan cara lukisan yaitu sebagai berikut :
\n– Salin soal diatas dengan skala gaya 2 N # 1cm dan skala panjang 1: 10.
\n– Perpanjang garis gaya P dan Q keatas sampai bertemu di titik C .
\n– Pindahkan gaya P dan Q ke titik C .
\n– Buat jajaran genjang melalui gaya P dan Q tersebut .
\n– Buat diagonal melalui titik C hingga didapat besarnya resultan R .
\n– Perpanjang garis kerja gaya R sampai memotong garis AB di titik D , dan titik D adalah titik tangkap resultannya .
\n– Pindahkan resultan dari titik C ke titik tangkap D . Maka didapat : titik tangkap , arah dan besarnya gaya resultan seperti terlihat pada gambar berikut .<\/p>\n
