Titik berat suatu atau bidang datar beratuaran dapat dilihat pada gambar berikut :
\n1. Penampang segi ampat .<\/strong>
\nUntuk penampang segi empat yang mempunyai ukuran panjang h mm dan lebar b mm , letak titik beratnya adalah titik perpotongan diagonalnya atau e = \u00bd h mm untuk penampang yang tegak dan ukuran e = \u00bd b mm untuk penampang yang mendatar .

2. Penampang bujur sangkar<\/strong>
\nLetak titik berat untuk bidang yang membentuk bujur sangkar yang mempunyai ukuran sisi a mm maka ukuran e = \u00bd a (mm) , lihat gambar berikut<\/p>\n

3. Penampang lingkaran
\n<\/strong>Letak titik berat untuk bidang yang mempunyai bentuk lingkaran dengan diameter d mm adalah pada titik pusatnya , yaitu e = \u00bd d (mm) atau lihat gambar berikut .<\/p>\n

4. Penampang segitiga<\/strong>
\nLetak titik berat untuk bidang yang membentuk segitiga yang mempunyai ukuran sisi alas b ( mm) dan tingginya h (mm) , maka posisi titik beratnya adalah pada titik Z dan ukuran : e =2\/3 h (mm), lihat gambar berikut<\/p>\n

5. Penampang trapezium<\/strong>
\nLetak titik berat untuk bidang yang membentuk trapezium yang mempunyai ukuran sisi alas a ( mm) , sisi atas b (mm) dan tingginya h (mm) , maka posisi titik beratnya adalah pada titik Z lihat gambar dan ukuran : e dihitung dengan persamaan berikut :<\/p>\n
