Dan umumnya setiap perubahan dalam 10<sup>o<\/sup>C menghasilkan tegangan listrik sebesar 1mV dc. Sensor suhu mempunyai beberapa model dan jenis contoh sensor suhu yang ada di pasaran, diantaranya PTC, NTC, PT100, LM35, thermocouple dan lain-lain. Berikut ini karakteristik beberapa jenis sensor suhu.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2016\/12\/image-9.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2016\/12\/image_thumb-9.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"309\" height=\"277\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGambar Karakteristik beberapa jenis sensor suhu<\/p>\n<p>Pada gambar diatas IC sensor dan thermocouple memiliki linearitas paling baik, namun karena dalam tugas ini suhu yang diukur lebih dari 100<sup>o<\/sup>C, maka thermocouple yang paling sesuai karena mampu hingga mencapai suhu 1200<sup>o<\/sup>C. Sedangkan IC sensor linear mampu hingga 135<sup>o<\/sup>C.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PTC dan NTC<\/strong><br \/>\nTermistor atau tahanan thermal adalah komponen semikonduktor yang memiliki karakter sebagai tahanan dengan koefisien tahanan temperatur yang tinggi, yang biasanya negatif. Ada 2 jenis termistor yang sering kita jumpai dalam perangkat elektronika yaitu NTC (Negative Thermal Coeffisien) dan PTC (Positive Thermal Coeffisien). Umumnya tahanan termistor pada temperatur ruang dapat berkurang 6% untuk setiap kenaikan temperatur sebesar 1oC. Kepekaan yang tinggi terhadap perubahan temperatur ini membuat termistor sangat sesuai untuk pengukuran, pengontrolan dan kompensasi temperatur secara presisi.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2016\/12\/image-11.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2016\/12\/image_thumb-11.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"463\" height=\"394\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Termistor terbuat dari campuran oksida-oksida logam yang diendapkan seperti: mangan (Mn), nikel (Ni), cobalt (Co), tembaga (Cu), besi (Fe) dan uranium (U). Rangkuman tahanannya adalah dari 0,5 W sampai 75 W dan tersedia dalam berbagai bentuk dan ukuran. Ukuran paling kecil berbentuk mani-manik (beads) dengan diameter 0,15 mm sampai 1,25 mm, bentuk piringan (disk) atau cincin (washer) dengan ukuran 2,5 mm sampai 25 mm.
