{"id":317,"date":"2024-08-30T01:59:09","date_gmt":"2024-08-29T18:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/?p=317"},"modified":"2024-08-28T08:05:54","modified_gmt":"2024-08-28T01:05:54","slug":"memory-and-port-microprocessors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/memory-and-port-microprocessors\/","title":{"rendered":"Memory and Port Microprocessors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Memory is a component that is used to store binary instructions to be executed by the microprocessor, as well as the data used to work.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The memory can be directly accessed by the microprocessor, namely RAM (random access memory) that can be read-write and ROM (read only memory) that can only be read only.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> RAM is a chip out of mikroprosesar in the form of temporary memory and has a certain capacity.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> RAM for microcomputer applications separti in figure 2.4 and table functions as in Table II-1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/08\/image17.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/08\/image_thumb17.png?resize=334%2C107\" alt=\"image\" width=\"334\" height=\"107\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 5 Block diagram of RAM<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Table 1 Table function<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/08\/image20.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/08\/image_thumb21.png?resize=444%2C152\" alt=\"image\" width=\"444\" height=\"152\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> ROM is a data repository that functions as the operating system to work to instruct the microprocessor where the data pemnyimpanan ROM is permanent and has a certain capacity, a block diagram for the ROM as in figure 2.5.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/08\/image25.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.tneutron.net\/mikro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/08\/image_thumb25.png?resize=407%2C119\" alt=\"image\" width=\"407\" height=\"119\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 6 Block diagram ROM<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Input \/ output ports<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Port input \/ output is the component that connects the microprocessor to the external device (printer hard disk, keyboard, monitor, etc.).<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> So port applies here as &#8220;the door&#8221; to outside devices.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> As a memory, I \/ O port is also not a single component (meaning there are many ports in the computer system) are each assigned a specific address.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Thus the microprocessor know, for example, where to send the data to the printer, retrieve the data from the mouse and so on.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Memory is a component that is used to store binary instructions to be executed by the microprocessor, as well as<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[1238],"tags":[290,287,288,289],"class_list":["post-317","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-english","tag-memory-interfacing-in-microprocessors","tag-memory-microprocessors","tag-microprocessors-memory","tag-microprocessors-memory-mapping"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
