Grouping can also be narrowed to a smaller group of commodities, such as fruit trees may still be classified again based climate in which it grows. Based on a growing climate, fruits can be classified into two groups:

a. Fruits hot or tropical climates

b. Temperate climate fruits or sub-tropical

Fruits hot climates or tropical namely fruits that grow in areas that have a temperature of about 25 ° C or more, while the fruit sub-tropical climate is a fruit that grows in areas that have a maximal temperature of 22 ° C , Fruits that grow in hot regions or tropical for example pineapple, banana, papaya, avocado, mango, rambutan, durian and so on, whereas that grows in the temperate and sub-tropical eg grapes, apples, oranges, strawberries and so on.

Likewise, the group of vegetables, the vegetables can be divided into two groups based on (1) a part of the plant and (2) based on the climate of a place to grow.

a) Based on the part of the plant

Various parts of the plant for example roots, tubers, stems, leaves, fruits, flowers, seeds and so can be used as a vegetable consumption, such as carrots, potatoes, taken from the tuber, kale, spinach, lettuce, mustard greens taken from section leaves, asparagus, bamboo shoots from the stems are still young, tomatoes, peppers, squash, eggplant from the fruit, red beans, green beans from the fruit seeds. Grouping vegetable based part of the plant is presented in Table 1.
