\n Pyrometers are temperature gauges in the furnace at any time during the combustion takes place.<\/span> Pyrometer has two important parts of thermocouples and a galvanometer or pyrometers are equipped with form of needle pointer and a temperature scale in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.<\/span> There are 2 kinds of pyrometer, the pyrometer optical and thermoelectric pyrometer (thermocouple).<\/span> Thermoelectric pyrometer consist of a thermocouple, scale, and the wires connecting the couple with the scale.<\/span><\/p>\n

While thermocouple consists of two wires of different alloys.<\/span> Both wires are wrapped with fireproof insulation materials.<\/span>

How it works pyrometer is as follows: When the temperature of fuel in the furnace starts to heat up, the meeting point of the two wires are soldered to act as batteries that emit weak electric current of a few millivolts.<\/span> The longer the current flows, increasingly greater the warming, according to the temperature increase in the furnace.<\/span> Currents moving the indicator needle explore the temperature scale depicted in galvanometer.<\/span><\/p>\n

By looking at the position of the needle on the temperature scale, the operator will be able to directly read and determine the amount of heat in the furnace.<\/span> Pyrometer is an instrument that is vulnerable to damage, handling should be careful because it is expensive, so the operation should be entrusted to the operator of combustion.<\/span> Usually in the combustion process, in addition pyrometers, also use other temperature measuring device known as a cone or a stake.<\/span> Often both types of temperature gauges are used in a furnace so as to avoid errors due to incorrect temperature reading of the appliance is not working.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thermocouples are inserted into the furnace through a special hole, both ends of the wire beyond the connecting cable to be connected with the galvanometer indicator (pyrometers).<\/span> If it ends the connection exposed to heat will arise the voltage that can be measured with the electrical measuring devices (pyrometers) which will indicate the temperature in the combustion chamber.<\/span> On certain types of furnaces, pyrometers and thermocouples have been installed in the furnace.<\/span> If not installed, generally there is a hole in the middle of the stove to put thermocouples, while pirometernya needs to be placed in a safe position and the indicator is easy to read.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
