Ada kemungkinan benda yang dibakar mengalami retak. Beberapa penyebabnya adalah: \uf0b7<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jika banyak yang pecah, kemungkinan pemanasan awal terlalu cepat.<\/li>\n<li>Jika ada yang mengalami banyak retak rambut, kemungkinan suhu melewati 570<sup>o<\/sup>C, peningkatan suhu panas terlalu cepat. \uf0b7<\/li>\n<li>Jika hanya sedikit benda yang retak, bisa dikarenakan ketika proses pembentukan, terdapat gelembung udara atau pengeringan yang kurang baik.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Catatan<\/strong><br \/>\nWaktu pendinginan tungku adalah minimal sama dengan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pembakaran. Bila suhu di dalam sudah di bawah 100<sup>o<\/sup>C, maka semua lubang ventilasi dibuka dan pintu tungku dibuka sedikit. Beberapa saat kemudian benda dapat di bongkar dan dikeluarkan.
