For products that are only made with clay materials alone, the properties of the product is highly dependent on the nature of the clay.<\/span> If want a product with properties that better then we have to process and manipulate the clay single into a body of clay (clay body) which is a combination of clay and other minerals which when mixed with clay will produce the properties desired ,<\/span><\/p>\n

Other minerals that are used to create a clay body is feldspar, kaolin, quartz, ballclay, bentonite and others.<\/span> The addition of these minerals will lead to improved quality of ceramic bodies with regard to plasticity, shrinkage, the color of the burnt, overcooked temperature, porosity and others.<\/span> The type, nature and function of clay and other materials for making ceramic objects can be divided into two groups: plastic materials and materials not plastic.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
