Batasan ketinggian 1,30 m dat untuk pengukuran diameter ini dapat diterima di Indonesia mengingat angka 1,30 m dat bagi sebagian besar orang Indonesia memberikan kenyamanan dalam melakukan pengukuran diameter, yaitu pengukuran dapat dilakukan dengan tidak membungkuk ataupun berjingkat. Tetapi, kondisi pohon dan tanah hutan akan sangat mempengaruhi pengukuran diameter pohon berdiri di dalam hutan. Mengapa?<\/p>\n<p>Kondisi tegakan hutan yang tidak seragam memberikan dampak terhadap cara pengukuran pohon hutan. Perbedaan cara pengukuran tersebut bergantung dari karakteristik pohon maupun kondisi tanah hutannya. Di bawah ini terdapat beberapa karakteristik pohon dan kondisi tanah hutan yang memberikan dampak perbedaan dalam melakukan pengukuran pohon hutan, yaitu :<br \/>\n(a) Batang pohon tumbuh tidak lurus melainkan miring (Gambar 3).<br \/>\n(b) Adanya akar banir pada pohon (Gambar 4).<br \/>\n(c) Batang pohon pada ketinggian 1,3 m dat cacad (Gambar 5).<br \/>\n(d) Batang pohon membentuk cagak atau garpu (Gambar 6).<br \/>\n(e) Pohon yang tumbuh di hutan rawa atau payau (Gambar 7).<br \/>\n(f) Tanah tempat tumbuh pohon miring (Gambar 8).<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2016\/08\/image-20.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2016\/08\/image_thumb-20.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"244\" height=\"137\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGambar 3.
