Rumus dasar tinggi berdasarkan posisi (5)<\/p>\n<p>Dari gambar tersebut dapat diperoleh rumus tinggi pohon, yaitu :<br \/>\nT = (t2 \u2013 t1)<br \/>\nT = (Jd x tangen \u03b2) &#8211; (Jd x tangen \u03b1)<br \/>\nT = Jd x (tangen \u03b2 &#8211; tangen \u03b1)<\/p>\n<p>Keterangan :<br \/>\nT = tinggi total pohon (m)<br \/>\nt1 = tinggi BC (m)<br \/>\nt2 = tinggi AB (m)<br \/>\nJd = jarak datar antara pembidik dengan pohon (m)<br \/>\n\u03b1 = sudut yang terbentuk saat membidik pucuk pohon (m)<br \/>\n\u03b2 = sudut yang terbentuk saat membidik pangkal pohon (m)<\/p>\n<p>Memperhatikan kelima rumus dasar tinggi di atas, ternyata terdapat tiga kelompok rumus tinggi pohon, yaitu :<br \/>\na) T = Jd x (tangen \u03b1 + tangen \u03b2)<br \/>\nRumus ini digunakan pada saat kedudukan pembidik dan pohon berdiri pada posisi (1), posisi (2), dan posisi (4). Mengapa bisa terjadi penggunaan rumus yang sama? Ternyata pada posisi posisi (1), posisi (2), dan posisi (4), mata pembidik masih berada diantara pangkal dan bagian atas batang pada saat melakukan pengukuran tinggi pohon.<br \/>\nb) T = Jd x (tangen \u03b1 &#8211; tangen \u03b2)<br \/>\nRumus ini digunakan pada saat kedudukan pembidik dan pohon berdiri pada posisi (3), yaitu posisi mata berada lebih rendah dari pangkal batang (arah bidik menaik).<br \/>\nc) T = Jd x (tangen \u03b2 &#8211; tangen \u03b1)<br \/>\nRumus ini digunakan pada saat kedudukan pembidik dan pohon berdiri pada posisi (5), yaitu posisi mata berada lebih tinggi dari bagian atas batang (arah bidik menurun).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hal yang perlu diingat!<\/strong><br \/>\na) Ketiga rumus tinggi di atas berlaku dengan persyaratan nilai sudut yang terbentuk selalu bernilai positif, baik arah bidik ke atas atau ke bawah.<br \/>\nb) Arah pembagian skala berawal dari posisi bidang datar (bidang datar saat pembidikan setinggi mata) bernilai 00, maka untuk menyatakan arah bidik ke atas nilai sudut diberi tanda + (positif) dan nilai sudut untuk arah bidik ke bawah diberi tanda \u2013 (negatif).
