Tekanan atmosfir<\/strong><br \/>\nTekanan atmosfer adalah tekanan udara pada titik manapun di atmosfer bumi. Tekanan udara pada setiap lapisan mempersentasikan total massa dari udara diatas level tersebut. Tekanan udara berkurang sesuai ketinggian. Meskipun udara kelihatannya ringan, jika mempunyai kolom udara yang besar pada permukaan bumi akan menghasilkan tekanan sekitar 100 kN\/m2 atau ekivalen dengan 1 bar atau 10 m kolom air<br \/>\nTekanan atmosfir = 100 kN\/m2 = 1 bar = 10 m kolom air<\/p>\n<p><strong>b. Debit<\/strong><br \/>\nKecepatan atau velocity adalah laju air mengalir per satuan waktu dalam pipa atau saluran yang dinyatakan dengan satuan m\/detik. Debit adalah volume air mengalir dalam pipa atau saluran per satuan waktu yang dinyatakan dengan m3\/detik. Sebagai contoh pada Gambar 9.1 dimana air mengalir dalam pipa berdiameter 100 mm pada kecepatan 1,5 m\/detik. Maka dalam 1 detik sejumlah air akan mengalir dalam pipa dengan volume sama dengan yang diarsir pada Gambar 9.1. Volume ini besarnya sama dengan kecepatan dikalikan dengan luas penampang aliran yakni 1.5 x 0.008 = 0.012 m3\/detik.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2016\/12\/image-6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2016\/12\/image_thumb-6.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"318\" height=\"106\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGambar 43. Kapasitas pompa<\/strong><br \/>\nKapasitas adalah volume air yang keluar dari pompa per satuan waktu. Biasa disebut juga debit aliran, umumnya dinyatakan dalam satuan liter\/detik atau liter\/menit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>d. Total Tinggi Isap (Total Suction Lift)<br \/>\n<\/strong>Jumlah dari tinggi isap statik dengan semua kehilangan energi pada pipa isap (pipa, saringan dan klep kaki) ditambah dengan velocity head pada pipa isap.<\/p>\n<p><strong>f. Tinggi Tekan Statik (Static Discharge Head)<\/strong><br \/>\nTinggi tekan static adalah jarak vertikal dari poros pompa ke elevasi muka air yang keluar dari pompa lihat Gambar 9.3.<br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Total Head tekan (Total Discharge Head)<\/strong><br \/>\nTotal head tekan adalah jumlah tinggi tekan statik dengan semua kehilangan energi pada pipa tekan berupa pipa dan smabungan ditambah velocity head dan pressure head.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Total Head<\/strong><br \/>\nTotal head tekanan atau energi yang harus diberikan pompa pada air yang besarnya merupakan penjumlahan dari total head tekan dengan total suction lift.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Total Head Statik<\/strong><br \/>\nTotal head statik adalah jarak vertikal dari muka air pada pipa isap ke muka air keluar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Head Gesekan (Friction Head)<br \/>\n<\/strong>Friction head adalah head ekuivalen dinyatakan dalam meter kolom air untuk menanggulangi gesekan aliran dalam pipa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Head Tekanan (Pressure Head)<\/strong><br \/>\nPressure head adalah tekanan dinyatakan dalam meter kolom air dalam ruang tertutup dimana pompa mengisap atau menekan air (Hp = \uf020\uf072\/g).<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Head Kecepatan (Velocity Head)<\/strong><br \/>\nHead kecepatan (Velocity head) adalah tekanan air yang dinyatakan dalam meter kolom air yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan kecepatan aliran. (Hv= v2\/2g)<br \/>\nMaksimum tinggi isap pompa (maximum practical suction lift). Untuk opersional pompa sentrifugal tanpa cavitasi, tinggi isap ditambah dengan semua kehilangan lainnya harus lebih kecil dari tekanan atmosfir teoritis.<\/p>\n<p>Maksimum tinggi isap dihitung dengan persamaan:<br \/>\n<strong>Hs = Ha &#8211; Hf &#8211; es &#8211; NPSH &#8211; Fs<\/strong><br \/>\ndimana:<br \/>\nHs = adalah maksimum tinggi isap, atau jarak dari pusat pompa ke muka air (meter)<br \/>\nHa = tekanan atmosfir pada permukaan air (meter atau 10,33 m pada permukaan laut);<br \/>\nHf = kehilangan karena gesekan pada saringan, pipa, sambungan dan klep pada pipa isap (m);<br \/>\nes = tekanan uap air jenuh (m);<br \/>\nNPSH = net positive suction head pompa termasuk kehilangan di sudu-sudu dan velocity head (m);<br \/>\nFs = Faktor pengaman (biasanya diambil sekitar 0,6 m)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>a.
