class=\"notranslate\"> Using the above equation, the energy of water = (600 x 10) \/ 365 = 16.4 kWh per day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>b.<\/strong><\/span> <span \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> In the example above has been calculated that the energy required every day to lift up to 600 m3 of water up to 10 m is 16.4 kWh.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> But energy depends on the rate of energy use.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The number of workers needed is greater if energy use shorter time.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Another way compute power and energy is to use pumped water discharge (of the volume of water pumped).<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Water Power (kW) = 9,81x Debit (m \/ sec) x Head
