Periksa alat-alat pengukuran sebelum dibawa ketempat pengukuran.<br \/>\n2. Periksa lokasi pengukuran dari keadaan\/lalu lintas kendaraan agar tidak mengganggu pengukuran.<br \/>\n3. Melakukan kerja sama yang baik dengan teman agar pengukurannya ketelitian.<br \/>\n4. Menyeberang jalan menunggu kendaraan\/lalu lintas aman.<br \/>\n5. Lindungi pesawat theodelite dari sinar matahari.<br \/>\n6. Bersihkan alat-alat sebelum dikembalikan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Langkah kerja :<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Perhatikan lokasi pengukuran serta membuat sket situasi pengukuran.<br \/>\n2. Tentukan tempat berdiri pesawat agar semua titik-titik yang diukur dapat terbidik semua (tidak terhalang).<br \/>\n3. Tentukan titik-titik pengukuran sebanyak 25 titik dengan diberi tanda dengan paku di pinggir jalan atau batas-batas pengukuran.<br \/>\n4. Setel pesawat di atas titik yang telah ditentukan.<br \/>\n5. Bidiklah teropong ketitik P, dengan menyetel derajat mendatar pada 00 0&#8242; 0&#8243;.<br \/>\n6. Bacalah sudut vertikal pada bacaan biasa dan mencatat pada daftar ( sewaktu membaca sudut vertikal terlebih dahulu benang silang tengah dihimpitkan pada bacaan rambu di atas titik P1 setinggi pesawat).<br \/>\n7. Baca bacaan pada rambu benang atas dan benang bawah, lalu catat pada daftar.<br \/>\n8. Balikkan teropong dan membidikan kembali ketitik P1 kemudian membaca sudut datar bacaan luar biasa dan sudut vertikal luar biasa.<br \/>\n9. Setelah mengembalikan posisi teropong dengan mengimpitkan benang silang tengah pada rambu yang sama dengan tinggi pesawat, (Ta=BT) atau boleh tidak sama tinggi pesawat dengan benang tengah(Ta\u2260BT) lalu membaca sudut vertikal (bacaan biasa), dan kemudian membaca benang atas dan benang bawah (BA dan BB).<br \/>\n10. Gerakkan teropong dengan mengimpitkan benang silang tengah pada angka rambu yang sama dengan tinggi pesawat, lalu membaca sudut vertikal (bacaan biasa), dan kemudian membaca benang atas dan benang bawah.<br \/>\n11. Balikan teropong dan diputar searah jarum jam lalu membidikan kembali ketitik P1 untuk membaca sudut datar dan vertikal luar biasa.<br \/>\n12.
