{"id":986,"date":"2024-10-13T02:18:54","date_gmt":"2024-10-12T19:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/?p=986"},"modified":"2024-10-11T08:19:05","modified_gmt":"2024-10-11T01:19:05","slug":"spatial-data-source","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/spatial-data-source\/","title":{"rendered":"Spatial Data Source"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"notranslate\">One type of data in GIS are spatial data, which can be obtained from several sources, among others:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>1) Data Map Analog<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Data Map analog (among others topographic maps, soil maps, etc.) that maps in printed form along with the results scannya.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Analog map created by cartographic techniques, are likely to have such a spatial reference coordinates, scale, direction of the wind and so on.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> In stage SIG as the purpose of data sources, map the analog is converted to digital maps in a way converted to raster format through the process of digitizing vector format so it can show the actual coordinates on the earth&#8217;s surface.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>2) Data Systems Remote Sensing<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Remote Sensing Data (among other satellite images, aerial photographs, etc.), an important source of data for GIS because of its availability at regular intervals and covers a certain area.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> With the assortment of satellites in space to the specifications of each, we can obtain various types of satellite imagery for a variety of application purposes.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> This data is typically represented in raster format.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>3) Data Field Measurement Results<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Field measurement data generated by its own calculation technique, in general, these data are a source of data attributes eg administrative boundaries, boundaries of land ownership, parcel boundary, boundary forest concession and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>4) Data GPS (Global Positioning System)<\/strong><\/span> <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong> <span class=\"notranslate\"> GPS technology provide an important breakthrough in providing data for GIS.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The higher the accuracy of GPS measurements with the development of technology.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> This data is usually represented in a vector format.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Input data SIG<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> GIS data referred to in this section is the data obtained from the results of field measurements.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Measurement data can be converted into a digital map.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The data used is the coordinate data measurement results.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Input data is done by entering the coordinates of the observation data and save it in excel format (.xls \/ .xlsx) then calls the data and make it a XY event layer after it is exported into shapefile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Steps input field measurement data into ArcMap is:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> 1) Create an Excel file that contains point number, coordinates X, Y coordinates, and a description that contains an explanation point, then close and save the file in the .xls format.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> 2) The distance between the title and the first data should not be inserted with the space because it will affect the reading of the data in ArcGIS 10.1 software so that the data can not be displayed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> 3) The following is an example spreadsheet containing the X and Y coordinates of the observation data.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2015\/12\/image-12.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tneutron.net\/sipil\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2015\/12\/image_thumb-12.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"193\" height=\"356\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> Figure 8.
