The human body needs a balance. To maintain a normal weight needs to be set daily meals with calorie counts and nutritional value of food in accordance with the needs of the body. Through setting good food, the body receives a number of foods that contain a balanced nutritional value.
In other words, is a condition where the body is obtaining enough food contains all the nutrients in the amounts needed by the body.
Furthermore, these nutrients can be used by the body to perform the function of organs. With balanced nutrition can be achieved better life, giving happiness, opportunity to grow and develop properly, and be able malakukan daily activities and less susceptible to disease. Nutritional balance can be achieved with a set menu consisting of a variety of food groups.
The diverse sources of substances, namely the class of substances giving power source or energy, a source of a group of builders and regulators resource group. For example: menu containing rice or substitute such as noodles, tubers, meat or substitute tempeh and tofu, and vegetables and fruits. In addition to the foregoing, the menu must meet the nutritional adequacy of the age group, gender and activity.

Based on the above ideas, it can be concluded that the nutritional regulation of food is a step in the planning, processing and presentation of food for individuals in each age group according to the body’s need for nutrients, so that every individual can live a healthy life.
While nutrition planning techniques can be interpreted as the ways or stages in planning a good meal, starting from the preparation of the menu, and serving food processing techniques to suit the individual needs of each age group in an effort to fulfill nutrients, so that each individual can healthy living.
