Pump the outline can be classified as follows:
1. Positive Displacement Type: pump that works on certain pressure, flow generated constant bias, internal leakage of small, round up, then flownya also rose. Examples of this include a plunger pump pump, Gear Pump, Vane Pump, pump Trochoid.

There are two types of frequently encountered and broad application, namely: (1). Internal Gear Pump and (2) External Gear Pump.
Internal Gear Pump:
These pumps are often also called trocoid pump (Pump Trochoid). Examples of its use Oil pump S6 D105 engine, pump lubricant in Hino, Hydraulic on heavy equipment John Deere.
External Gear Pump
In broad outline External Gear Pump can be divided into two (2) types
1. Fixed Side Plate Type Gear Pump
This type of pump has a pressure of 30 Kg / cm2 to 125 kg / cm2. This pump type there is also the use of a side plate which serves to reduce the side clearance. Komatsu call this type of pump with type FAL / R and GAL / R. Having a volumetric efficiency:? v = 75-85%. See figure 33.
2. Pressure Balancing Type Gear Pump (Side Plate Movable Type Pump)
This type by Komatsu standardized for Discharge Pressure Serie 1402
kglcm, and called PAL / R Pump. Volumetric efficiencynya can reach 93% in maksirnum rpm and> 88% at half the rated RPMs.
