Scale is the size ratio between the size of the image to the size of the actual object. An object or objects having different sizes, some small and some large. Therefore, it is often not possible to draw an object in the drawing paper of a certain size, the actual size.
If the objects are drawn too large, then the size of the image must be reduced, if the object is drawn too small then the size of the image to be enlarged, and if the object is drawn makes it possible to draw the same amount of it is not required scale (drawn to scale 1: 1).
Reduce or enlarge the image is taken with certain scale. The scale is linear in the size comparison image of the linear size of the same element of the object.
There are three kinds of scale drawings and scale designation, namely:
