Figure II.98 shows the diagram of the measurement of the generator and the channel. Magnitude is measured in:
1. Voltage electrical
Measurement of the voltage required to maintain the quality of electricity supply should not be terialu low and to keep from damaging the insulation, the voltage required should not be high terialu.
2. Flows
Current measurement is necessary to observe the changes of various tools, not to experience a load more.
3. Power On
Active power measured in kW or MW. Measurement is required in relation to the ability of the engine driving the generator and frequency settings.
4. Reactive Power
Reactive power is measured in Volt Ampere Reactive (VAR) atauMegga Volt Ampere Reactive (MVAR). Measurements needed to determine the ability of the amplifier and generator voltage settings.

5. Energy-Electricity
Electrical energy is measured in kWh or MWh. Measurement of force required to draw up the balance sheet and related to fuel consumption.
6. Angle phase (cos f)
To a large measure and determine objec Cos f lagging or leading so as to know whether the generat or generating or absorbing reactive power.
7. Frequency
Required to parallelize the generator and maintain the quality of electricity supply.
