Formation of ceramic objects with cast molding techniques can be done with the free model or the model lathe. Make a plaster mold of a three-dimensional model requires precision to determine how the mold to be made, two or more parts and the plaster mold in the foundry where the hole is made so there is a model of related.
Number plaster mold to be made is dependent on the shape of the model so that when opened no mengkait.

Cast molding technique (two-sided prints or more) produces three-dimensional ceramic objects, the number of prints for a ceramic object is highly dependent on the types of objects are made, eg:
- Bowl, one mold with two or more parts of the mold. Cups, two cups mold mold and mold the handle.
- Place sugar, three sugar mold is a mold, cap mold, and mold knob.
- Teapot, teapot five mold is mold, cap mold, mold knob, handle mold, and mold cucup.
Some of the principles of making double-sided prints or more:
Cross-sectional images of all models are covered by a plaster mold, so that the model can not be opened.
Cross-sectional images dividers model is not right in the middle, so that the corresponding model in the plaster mold.
Equipment
Cross-sectional images dividers model is not right in the middle, so that the corresponding model in the plaster mold.
Cross-sectional images dividers right in the middle of the model, so the model is not relevant in the plaster mold.
To be able to create a model of cast molding technique required some type of equipments among others:
- Butsir wood (wood modeling tools) Knife Brush
- Sponge (sponges)
- Pedestal formation
- Chisel lathe (turning lathe) Waskom / bucket
- Scales
- Whirler / wheel appeal
- Mold board
- Linoleum
- Shovels
- Glass size
- Waterproof sandpaper
- Lathe (lathe turning reversible)
Here are examples of some of the models which is a form of three
dimension-free technique:
