Voltage Synchronous Generator 3 Phase

Setting Automatic Voltage 3 phase synchronous generator using Type Electro Mechanical AVR Brown & Cie (AVR – BBC).

In hydropower Mendalan automatic voltage settings (AVR) using a type of electro mechanical AVR Brown & Cie. AVR is composed of two sectors barriers equipped P groove contacts form a circle. These contacts can rotate forward and backward, so that the resistance R can be enlarged and reduced.

If the generator voltage increases, the coupling generated by the drum T be strong, so that P moves to the right and consequently enlarged obstacles. Diperkecii exciter dynamo amplified, so that the generator voltage drops to normal. When the generator voltage drops (less than normal), then the reverse process occurs.
