Pipe Venturi

Another form of flow measurement with different pressure is the venture pipe. In the venture pipe, accelerator fluid flow is done by forming a funnel so that the flow can still be maintained to remain laminar. The first tensile sensor (P 1 ) is placed at the first pressure angle and the second pressure sensor is placed on the plaing portion toward the center. Venturi pipes are commonly used to measure fluid flow. Advantages of venturi pipe are:
1.Solid particles still pass through the measuring instrument
2. The flow capacity is large enough
3. Measurement tekana better than orifice plate.
4. Hold fluid pressure.

The disadvantages are:
1. Ukuiran gets bigger
2. More expensive than orifice plate
3. Different pressure caused to be smaller than orifice plate.

Flow Nozzle
Flow Nozzle type uses a funnel placed between the pressure sensor P 1 pipe connection inlet and P 2 parts of the outlet. Pressure P 2 is smaller than P 1 . This type of sensor has advantages over the venture and orifice plate are:
1. Still can skip solids
2. The flow capacity is large enough
3. Easy to install
4. Hold against fluid friction
5. Different pressure obtained is greater than venturi pipe
6. The pressure difference is good because the flow is still laminer
