Utilization of Water Flow and Movement

The presence of this water movement, resulting in turnover (circulation) heat, solutes and water bodies. This gives rise to the movement of the water flow is not fixed (turbulence) and the speed of the water mass. Motion turbulence becomes large so-called “current system” consisting of:
a) The current system is not periodic.
The current system is the water flow in one direction. The movement of water is caused by:
(1) The difference in the spread of heat,
(2) The addition of water from the outside,
(3) The effect of the wind.

b) periodic current system.
The current system consists of two essential parts, namely:

 surface waves.
The surface waves caused by the reaction between the surface resistance of the water with the wind that blows that cause water movement. Surface wave magnitude is greatly influenced by wind speed, wind speed and magnitude of changes into kinetic energy and potential energy of the waves. The influence of these waves is limited to the top layer of water and have no effect on the mass transfer of water is greater.

 Seiche.
The current system is a linkage (isolation) water layer on one or several knot. This current causes the mass transfer of water that is greater than surface waves. The current system pressure caused by excess surface water. The excess pressure caused by the influence of variations in local barometer, wind and rain.
