This valve serves to control / controlling the size of the hydraulic fluid flow .It is assumed that the magnitude of the flow is the amount of hydraulic fluid flowing volume will affect the speed of movement of the actuator. Various flow control:
a. Fix flow control passageways size of the hole is fixed (not adjustable)
b. Adjustable flow control passageways that hole can be set with the adjusting screw.
c. Adjustable flow control with by-pass check valve.
The basic construction of the flow control there are two kinds:
- Restrictor (Figure 23a).
- Orifice (Figure 23b)

Valve One Way
This valve serves to regulate fluid flow only in one direction only, namely when the fluid has passed through the valve so the fluid can not be reversed. Various valves unidirectional:

Hydraulic fluid pressure will lift the poppet p1 Kones so that fluid can flow. So that pressure can lift poppet p1 then p1> p2 + pF
