Safety Hydraulic Work

When working around a hydraulic circuit, the safety of yourself and others is the first consideration. The recommendations suggested in this section are common precautions that are always observed when working on a hydraulic system.
1. Always lower the hydraulic work unit to the ground before leaving the vehicle.
2. Park the engine vehicle on flat ground and use the brake whenever possible.
3. Install safety and / or work unit locks when you have to work on a system that is temporarily raised. Do not lean on the hydraulic lift to support the unit.
4. Never service the hydraulic system at the moment while the engine is alive unless absolutely necessary, as in the case of discharging system flow.
5. Never disassemble the cylinder until the unit to be worked on the ground or mounted safely. Make sure that the engine is off.
6. At the time of transporting the machine, the cylinder stop locks to hold the work unit firmly.
7. Never check the leaks by using your hands or fingers. High pressure can cause injury.
8. Before disconnecting the oil hose, remove all hydraulic pressure and dispose of the accumulator (if used).
9. Ensure that all connections are tight and pipe and hose are not damaged.

Oil exhaust under pressure can cause a fire hazard and may cause injury ..

10. Hydraulic pumps and control valves are heavy. Before dismantling, prepare a support tool eg. chain hoist, squat or booster.
11. To ensure control of the unit, keep the hydraulics tuned appropriately.
