Drilling equipment deliveries could be done by land, water or air depending on the location of drilling. Transport drilling equipment referred to as moving. Selection of equipment for transportation of drilling equipment is based on the level of convenience and cost as well as the possibilities. In conducting the transportation should pay attention to work safety, both to workers, equipment, and the environment, considering drilling equipment across the large and heavy.
Sequence transport must also consider the sequence of drilling equipment to be transported. First equipment installed in the location that is first brought. This is to avoid the accumulation of equipment at the site, given the limited space there is in the location.
a. Transportation by land
Delivery of equipment overland usually done using trailers. For certain areas, for example the desert of delivery of equipment by means of “skidding”, namely the withdrawal of the rig as a whole is placed on a flat steel plate underneath fitted with wheels made of iron, then the rig is towed by a bulldozer. How this is done when the state of the area is relatively flat and long distances in this way will be more efficient and economical
b. Transportation by water
When the drilling location is located in swampy areas or can be approximated by means of water, rig delivery can be done with a special ship. If the rig used in the swampy area usually rig mounted as a whole on a “barge” The ship pulled by tugboat “towing ship”.

c. Transport by air
If the delivery of equipment by land and water is not practical or geographical conditions do not allow it to be done by land or water, the equipment can be delivered by air. When using a plane, then the site should be prepared enough land for the runway, but if not possible then created a foundation conducted by helicopter.
