Time Delay is a time delay switch that is used as a tool control system. Terminal voltage source found in numbers 2-7, NO contacts on the terminals 1-3 and 6-8 and NC contacts are on terminal 1-4 and 5-8.

Most of the time delay relay having a setting time limits vary. For example, a time delay relay has a setting time of 0.05 to 100 hours. Relay there are two kinds of time delay on-delay or off-delay that can be connected to the load, depending on how the output of the circuit wiring. In the illustration shown in the figure below, for example on-delay timer or closed, also called time delay relay normally open, closed time (NOTC).
In this example, the time delay relay is set for a delay of 5 seconds.

If S1 is closed, the relay start time delay work or energizes (counting time). After 5 seconds, the box of the relay is closed, and the indicator light. If S1 is open, the relay delay time does not work or de-energizes, the relay box of simultaneously open, so the indicator light goes out.
